SIMON VILLAEYS

Ceramics

Simon Villaeys’s current work, entitled Verum Ipsum Factum, or “you only know what you have made yourself”, now consists in inventing new worlds, new universes, new possibilities for Humanity

He has chosen ceramics to create new planets. Special attention is put on his planet’s axis, rotation or tidal lock, size – they are all to scale -, hydrometry, and the conditions of life probably reflecting those existing in our universe and given its vastness, these planets could well exist as such.

Every planet of his making has a story, but it is worth saying Simon only creates ideal worlds and puts emphasis on using only sustainable material.
