Simon Villaeys’s current work, entitled Verum Ipsum Factum, or “you only know what you have made yourself”, now consists in inventing new worlds, new universes and new possibilities for Humanity.

As a tribute to the creativity of the Creator, Simon intends to recreate galaxies and nebulae by photographing what he finds in his daily life that reminds him of such stellar objects. Every galaxy of his making has its own name, starting with NTC or “New Thoth Catalogue”. He is interested in the interaction of different substances and draws inspiration from the very alchemy/chemistry of our own world.

Simon has recently found a way to print his photographs without recurring to any toxic material and is eager to print many more photographs this way.
